Episode 13

Devon Mispronounces “Ethereal” More Than Once

Or, Cory Has a Good Grasp on the English Language

August 10th, 2016  •  On tonight’s episode of Song Buzzards, our heroes have a hard time explaining Musikfest, Devon has a hard time pronouncing simple words, and Cory has a hard time Googling his bands. Devon chooses a band that has (not) opened for both Beyonce and Jay-Z, the guys have some harsh words for Stanley Kubrick, and Cory realizes that he doesn’t play as much synthwave as Devon gives him credit for. Also, Devon’s brain melts, Cory belches, and Devon Manuel shares his love for Paul Simon’s “Graceland” (especially the song “You Can Call Me Owl”).

Featuring the following songs that exist by bands that exist:

  1. Motherfolk Wreck of a Man 6:45
  2. Oh Pep! The Race 12:50
  3. ISLAND Spotless Mind 18:51
  4. Why We Run Hallway 25:54
